Mr. Poston is the Chief Executive Officer of Delfin. Since 2010 he has been working in the LNG industry focused on the commercial development of Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU), Floating Liquefaction (FLNG) and small scale LNG, where he was an Executive Vice President at Golar LNG. Prior to his time at Golar LNG, Mr. Poston spent 16 years working in the US natural gas industry as a financial and physical trader for Koch Industries, The Williams Companies and Citigroup’s Global Commodities division.
He holds a BA in Government from the University of Texas, an MA in Economics from The State University of New York – Binghamton and a MS in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Pastoor is the Chief Operating Officer of Delfin. Since 2001 he has been working in the LNG industry with main experiences from Floating LNG projects. He has been engaged in technical, commercial and management roles ranging from R&D, origination, business development, engineering, contracting to yard construction. Before joining Delfin, Mr. Pastoor was working at Golar LNG where he was Head of Commercial and FLNG Development Director. Under his responsibility the FLNG FEED for the Delfin project was executed.
Mr. Pastoor started his career in the FPSO industry and he conducted a Ph.D. study on an assignment of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Mr. Pastoor is educated as a Naval Architect and has a M.Sc. (Cum Laude) and a Ph.D. degree from Delft University in the Netherlands.
Mr. Jones is the CEO of the parent company’s largest shareholder. Mr. Jones was a founder-shareholder of Marc Rich + Co. AG, now Glencore plc. and a former Advisor to the President of OPEC.
Mr. Jones was one of the early investors in US shale gas. Together with his partners he developed assets in the Barnett shale starting in the mid-1990s.
Throughout his 40 years of experience in the energy industry Mr. Jones has developed projects and businesses in LPG marketing, coal bed methane extraction, hydroelectric power, and natural gas. He has led numerous ventures with various public and private entities throughout the world.
Mr. Jones has been involved in real estate and oil and gas investment in Texas for over 30 years. This experience was a driving factor in the conception of Delfin LNG.
Mr. Daughdrill is the Director of HSE of Delfin, and oversees the various state and federal permitting efforts. Mr. Daughdrill is a 37 year veteran in maritime safety and environmental protection. His positions prior to joining Delfin include a variety of senior leadership positions in the U.S. Coast Guard and a project manager with Ecology and Environment, where he worked on the Delfin project.
Mr. Kim is responsible for leading all of Delfin LNG’s deals in Korea. His focus is to develop and sign off-take agreements with Korean LNG buyers, collaborate with major shipbuilders, and facilitate partnerships with financial institutions.
Before joining Delfin LNG, Mr. Kim served as a senior executive at various companies globally, including General Electric, Scapa Group, Cisco Systems, and Samsung Group. Mr. Kim holds an MBA from IMD In Switzerland.
